When the summit of the Ploseberg glistens seductively, it's time for a trip to the snow. How about some skiing on the legendary Trametsch piste? Or winter hiking on fairytale-like alpine pastures? Whether on two skis, two runners or snowshoes: exploring Brixen's winter wonderland is fun and helps you disconnect.
A ski room is available for our winter guests at Residence Nives. We are also happy to lend you snowshoes or toboggans free of charge.
Easy, difficult, short and long. When it comes to variety of pistes, the Plose has plenty to offer. The panorama is also a real eye-catcher - the view reaches all the way to the Dolomites! Hop on the ski bus and off on your skis: the ski bus stops just a few steps away and takes you to the Plose cable car and into the heart of the Dolomiti Superski area. Not only is there the longest valley run in Italy, you can also look forward to the magic of huts, a fun park and plenty of sunshine.
On the Ploseberg, it's not just downhill, but also uphill - on snowshoes or in warm winter boots. A popular winter hiking trail leads to the Rossalm. The high alpine pastures in the surrounding area - Villanderer, Villnösser and Rodenecker Alm - also invite you to trudge through the white picture-book landscape. Lots of snow paths are groomed and take you along snow-covered alpine pastures to the cosy mountain huts.
Having fun – that’s what tobogganing is all about. Brixen's local mountain Plose is worth a cable car ride, as it awaits you with the 9 kilometre long RudiRun toboggan run. During the Plose Nights it is even floodlit at night. Things are more leisurely on the Rossalm natural toboggan run, and the Villnösser or Villanderer Alm runs are ideal for families. Get you sledge and get going!
